Former Heartland FC forward Francis Momoh is attracting interests from top professional football clubs in Germany, Italy, Sweden, Turkey and Switzerland, according to his agent Chinedu Obi.
The 18-year-old striker made a name for himself while on loan at Heartland from Divine Praise FC, scoring 11 goals, which helped the Owerri club gain promotion back to the NPFL in 2018.
Momoh’s wonderful performances for the club almost earned him a Flying Eagles call-up last year, but it was not to happen. He has now caught the attention of football clubs in Europe and his agent is looking to make the most of it.
“We’re happy with the level of interest shown by teams across Europe and we will be studying every offer so we can make the best choice for Francis,” agent Chinedu Obi said.
“Francis is a very young player and he needs to be with a team that can help develop his potentials in the right way.”
He recently signed a professional contract with Footy-crest Football Management Agency as he just turned 18 years old.
Momoh scored once for the Naze Millionaires at last season’s NPFL season.
