Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo has joined Chinese Super Lig side Shanghai Greenland Shenhua from Changchun Yatai.
Ighalo, who had earlier been linked with a move back to Europe during the winter break following the relegation of Changchun Yatai from the Chinese top-flight, finally signed the dotted lines on Thursday with Shanghai based-club.
According to reports from ALLNigeriaSoccer, the 29-year-old signed a deal worth around €15m that will keep him at the club until 2021.
He will now reunite with his former Watford manager, Quique Sánchez Flores at Shanghai.
Ighalo has began training with club on Thursday morning and will don the number nine jersey.
He could make his debut on March 1 against Shanghai SIPG in the opening day fixture of the 2019 Chinese Super Lig season.
