Nigerian forward Victor Moses was on target in his second appearance for Fenerbahce in their Super Lig clash against Göztepe on Friday night.
The Nigerian international scored the Turkish side’s second of the game after Ghanaian international Andre Ayew had scored the opener in the 7th minute.
The 28-year-old completed a loan move to Fenerbahce from Chelsea in the January window after struggling for game time under manager Maurizio Sarri at the Stamford Bridge.
He made his debut for the Turkish side in their Super Lig clash against Yeni Malatyaspor, coming on for Yassine Benzia in the 66th minute.
The Chelsea loanee was named on the bench once again for Fener in Friday’s league clash but this time, he took his chance to impress coach Ersun Yanal.
Introduced four minutes after the hour mark, Moses proved to be an impact sub for Fenerbahce as he eased pressure off the hosts, scoring their second in the 73rd minute.
He brilliantly beat his marker, gave a clever pass to Jailson before getting on the end of the Brazilian’s return pass to open his goal account for Fenerbahce.
Seems he still has it. Can we have him back? 😥pic.twitter.com/FHcZViPQcf
