The Confederation of Africa Football has drawn Nigeria’s home-based Eagles bye in the preliminary qualifying series for the 2020 African Nations Championship billed for Ethopia.
The draws for the CHAN qualifier was held on Tuesday at the CAF Headquaters in Cairo, Egypt.
In the ultimate round of the Western Zone B of the qualifiers, the Eagles will play the winner of the first-round tie between Benin Republic and Togo.
A total of Forty-seven teams are to jostle for 15 spots and join hosts Ethopia in the 6th edition of the tourney.
The biennial competition is exclusively designed for footballers playing in the domestic leagues across the continent.
