Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo has stated that he is ready for a return to the Premier League in this January transfer window.
Sky Sports claim the former Watford striker has told them that he is targeting a move back to a topflight English side amid reports that Turkish side’s Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have expressed interest in signing him.
Ighalo joined Changchun Yatai for £20m in January 2017 and was the second highest top scorer in the Chinese Super League last season.
During his spell in China, he registered 36 goals and 8 assists in 55 appearances.
The 29-year-old striker now wants out of the Chinese club following their relegation from the country’s topflight in December.
However, Changchun would want to regain at least the £20m they spent if they were to sell the forward.
That said, Ighalo is expected to fly into the UK this week to discuss his future with an unnamed Premier League side.
