Super Falcons have been drawn in Group A of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup alongside hosts France, Norway and Korea Republic.
Thomas Dennerby’s ladies emerged the first African side to qualify for the Mundial after beating Cameroon in the semi-finals of Africa Women’s Cup of Nations last month.
The West Africans went on to defeat the Banyana Banyana of South Africa via a penalty shootout victory in the final of the continental competition to clinch the trophy.
Meanwhile, Banyana were drawn alongside Germany, China People’s Republic and Spain in Group B.
Africa’s third representative Cameroon were pooled with Canada, New Zealand and Netherlands in Group E.
The opening match of the Mundial will be played between France and Korea on June 7, 2019.
The competition will run through to July 7, 2019.
