Ronaldo Rape Allegations: Lawyer speaks against ‘fabricated’ documents depicting attack

Cristiano Ronaldo’s lawyer has spoken to the media about the documents published in Der Spiegel relating to allegations of sexual assault that were issued against the Juventus forward as been “altered and completely fabricated.”

In a statement broadcast on Portuguese TV on Wednesday, Peter S. Christiansen, the lawyer who will defend the 33-year-old over accusations made by Kathryn Mayorga, states that documents reproduced in the media are “pure inventions”.

Ronaldo firmly denied accusations made by Kathryn Mayorga who claims she was raped by Ronaldo at the Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas in 2009.

Speaking on TVI24, Christiansen claims that Der Spiegel have “irresponsibly” published “stolen” documents procured by a “cyber criminal”.

He added that Ronaldo “does not deny that he agreed to enter into an agreement” with Mayorga in 2010, but insists “the reasons that led him to do so are at least being distorted”.
Rather, it’s claimed Ronaldo entered into the agreement on the advice of his advisors, in order to end “outrageous accusations made against him”.
