Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera feels his time at Old Trafford is approaching an end, but he’s yet to outrightly indicate that he wants to leave.
According to reports from Spanish outlet, El Correo, Herrera assumes ‘his United career has come to an end’.
The report further claims that Athletic Bilbao, his former club, have made the 29-year-old their main priority ahead of the January transfer window.
The Spaniard, who was voted the club’s best player in Jose Mourinho’s first season at the club, will be free to speak to other clubs in January ahead of his contract expiring in June 2019.
Herrera moved to Old Trafford from Athletic Bilbao for £29million in 2014.
