The Nigerian team began their cruise to victory beautifully, taking the first quarter 25-20. The second quarter was even more glorious for the team as they increased their lead to 12 points after bagging 26 points in the quarter as against the Central Africans’ 19.
D’Tigers went full throttle in Quarter 3, earning a massive 37 points to their CAR counterparts 21. Alex Nwora’s men then finished up the job in the fourth quarter with another 26 points earning, with the fatigued CAR teaming managing just 9.
The Nigerian team will now face African powerhouse Senegal in an inconsequential World Cup qualifiers match on Sunday evening.
