Chelsea are on the verge of losing creative midfielder Cesc Fabregas as there are speculations that the 31-year-old has picked interests from Inter Milan and AC Milan.
Fabregas, who joined the Blues in the summer of 2014, is now in the final year of his contract and the Spaniard is set to get in talks with clubs come January transfer window.
The former Barcelona man had enjoyed a bright start to his tenure at the West London side, clinching the Premier League title in his first campaign at Stamford Bridge.
However, he is yet to be called into a matchday squad this term by new manager Maurizio Sarri since the pre-season Community Shield defeat to Manchester City where he made his only appearance of the season till date.
This can actually be attributed to the ‘unusual’ knee injury that has plagued the midfield maestro since August. He is however close to a gaining full recovery but it’s left to be seen if he can challenge new signing for a place in the starting XI.
Sarri would probably be making a huge mistake if he allows Fabregas to leave so soon into his regime.
