Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has handed first-time invitation to four Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) players for the team’s impending international friendly against the Lone Stars of Liberia.
Seven foreign-based stars that made the squad for the clash against Seychelles have been excused for club commitments.
Elche goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, Brian Idowu, Leon Balogun, Kenneth Omeruo, Ogenyi Onazi, Ahmed Musa and Odion Ighalo are the players that were permitted to return to their respective club sides.
Meanwhile, Enyimba forwards Mfon Udoh and Sunday Adetunji; Lobi Stars’ Ebere Duru; and FC Ifeanyi Ubah defender Olamilekan Adeleye were handed fresh call-ups.
