Kelechi Iheanacho scored a brace in Leicester City’s 2-1 comeback win against LOSC Lille in a pre-season game played at the Stade Pierre Mauroy in France on Saturday.
Iheanacho, who was on from the start with Super Eagles mate Wilfred Ndidi, handed the Foxes a comeback win with two brilliant goals, bringing his pre-season goal tally to 4 in 3 games.
South African hitman Lebo Mothiba drew first blood for Lille when he struck the opener in the 5th minute, beating goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel from close range.
Thereafter, Ndidi saw his long range strike over the bar as the visitors sought a way back into the game in first half-hour.
The Foxes made a breakthrough in the 35th minute when Iheanacho rose highest to nod in a brilliant cross to draw his side level.
Iheanacho then banged in the winner for Leicester in the 59th minute after sending in a sharp strike at the near post after being assisted by a terrific cross from defender Ben Chiwell.

The striker and Ndidi were subbed out on 73 minutes and Leicester held on to their one-goal advantage as they secured a morale-boosting victory in their final pre-season game ahead their 2018/19 Premier League campaign.
That said, Nigeria International Ahmed Musa departed the fold of Nigerian players at Leicester on Friday as he completed a move to Saudi Arabia outfits Al Nassr for an undisclosed fee.
