Scottish Premiership side Rangers have officially signed Nigerian forward Sadiq Umar on loan from AS Roma on a season-long loan deal.
The Olympics Bronze medalist’s move was announced on Tuesday evening by the Steven Gerrard-led side via their official website.
Worthy of note, Umar, who has three years left on his contract with the Yellow and Reds, spent the second half of 2017/18 season with Dutch club NAC Breda.
He made his senior debut for Roma-based club in November 2015, and has scored two goals in six games.
The 21-year-old is Rangers’ ninth signing this summer as his deal is subjected to international clearance.
