Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru is on course to spend his season on loan at Turkish side Galatasaray.
The Super Lig giants have revealed that they are in close talks with Everton FC over snapping up the 21-year-old on a season-long loan deal.
“Professional footballer Henry Chukwuemeka Onyekuru’s official transfer to Galatasaray has started with official talks with the player and the club Everton FC,” Galatasaray wrote on their official twitter handle on Monday.

Onyekuru notably had a loan stint with Anderlecht in the 2017/18 season, but he had his campaign marred by a long-term knee injury he suffered in December 2017.
The former KAS Eupen hitman recorded complete recovery in April but he however failed to make Nigeria’s World Cup squad after sitting out of action for the rest of the season at Anderlecht.
Nonetheless, the forward scored 10 goals in 28 appearances in all competitions for the Belgian side.
