Nigerian midfielder Alhassan Ibrahim has joined Portuguese Primeira Liga outfit C.S. Marítimo from Austrian club Austria Vienna on an undisclosed terms.
Alhassan was on loan to the Austrian capital throughout last season from Nigerian side Akwa United.
The 21-year-old offensive midfielder made 26 appearances for the Violets netting two goals and providing an assist.
While speaking at his unveiling on Thursday, he said:
“I have huge will to play”.
“My football will speak for me,” he added, smiling.
Mu’azzam, as he is fondly called, made his senior debut for Nigeria in their 3-0 win over Togo in an international friendly.
He was also part of the Super Eagles squad that lost 3-2 to Atlético Madrid in in Uyo on May 22.
