Former Nigeria youth international Olarenwaju Kayode has joined Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk on a permanent deal from Manchester City following a 3-month loan spell.
The 25-year-old forward signed a five-year contract deal with the Miners on Friday.
The club announced the transfer via their official twitter handle stating:
“FC Shakhtar have bought on permanent transfer Olarenwaju Kayode from Manchester City and the striker has signed a five-year contract.”
The former Austria Wein striker made eight appearances for the club in the 2017/18 season scoring three goals and assisted once.
