Super Falcons land Banjul, hold first training ahead Gambia clash

Ahead of Wednesday’s encounter with Gambia, the Super Falcons of Nigeria have arrived Banjul, capital of The Gambia for the 2018 Women Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The contingent, who departed Lagos on Monday morning, landed in Banjul around 12 noon and had their first training in the evening at the FIFA Goal Project in the Gambian capital.

The qualifiers on Wednesday, June 6 is billed for the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

The eight-time African champions will be hoping to put up a decent performance against the Gambian team and secure a place in the continental tourney in Ghana later this year.
