Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has begun full training with the Super Eagles ahead of their friendly clash with Czech Republic, reports from ALLNigeriaSoccer confirms.
The Nigerian international, who has been undergoing light workouts for about two weeks in camp, participated in Monday evening’s training match which he came through unscathed.
Ndidi is now in line to feature in the pre-World Cup friendly against Czech Republic – his first game for club and country after picking up a hamstring injury five weeks ago.
The team will set out for Vienna on Wednesday morning for their final training before facing Czech Republic.
The contingent will train at the Avita Resort in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, Austria for the next one week before jetting out to Russia on June 11 for the World Cup.
