Leicester City forward Ahmed Musa says Nigeria’s World Cup warm-up game against England on Saturday will help their confidence ahead of the impending FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The 25-year-old attacker acknowledged that the encounter will be a good test for the team, adding that they will play not to lose.
“This game is not all about winning but to tune up for the World Cup,” the Super Eagles striker told Complete Sports.
“A win or a draw will boost our confidence going to the World Cup, so we will play not to lose.”
“It is a big game for us and we shall give it our best shot,” he added.
The Super Eagles will play the Three Lions of England at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday, June 2.
