OFFICIAL: Five players dropped from Eagles squad for England clash; Simon joins team for ‘further scan’ in London

Five players including Stephen Eze, Junior Lokosa, Dele Ajiboye, Uche Agbo and Moses Simon have been dropped from the Super Eagles squad to face the Three Lions of England in an international friendly billed for the Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

According to tweets on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) verified handle, 24 players head to London for the high profile warm-up game.

Meanwhile, injured Simon will also be on the plane to the English Capital as further scan on the extent of his injury will be taken there.

Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Francis Uzoho, Daniel Akpeyi

Defenders:
Chidozie Awaziem, Tyronne Ebuehi, Leon Balogun, William Troost-Ekong, Ola Aina, Kenneth Omeruo, Elderson Echiejile, Shehu Abdullahi, Bryan Idowu
