ADO Den Haag defender Tyronne Ebuehi is confident he will be available for the Super Eagles’ international friendly clash against the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Having made Nigeria’s 30-man provisional squad list for the World Cup, the Dutch-born right-back is in a race against time to recover from the injury that has kept him out of action for the Hagues in the Eredivisie recently.
Asked if he would be available for DR Congo friendly scheduled for May 28, Ebuehi replied:
“Yes. I’m recovering good, so no problem,” he told AOIFootball.
Although the 22-year-old has four caps for Nigeria, he is not cap-tied to the three-time African champions.
He will have to show he is in top condition during camping to stand a chance of challenging for a spot in Nigeria’s final 23-man squad list for the global competition.
