CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa was the hero in the side’s massive 2-1 win against Anji on the Russian Premier League’s ultimate matchday.
The Leicester City loanee, who has been in impeccable form for the Muscovite’s recently, got the opener of the game and went on to deliver an assist for the winner afterwards as CSKA overthrew Spartak Moscow to finish in second place.
Musa finished off smartly past Anji’s goalkeeper Aleksandr Budakov to earn the hosts the lead on 9 minutes.
Arsen Khubulov pulled one back for the visitors with a stunning strike in the 33rd minute.
Brazilian sensation Vitinho ensured CSKA bagged the vital three points as he scored what proved to be the winner in the 61st minute off an assist from Musa.
Musa has now scored an impressive seven goals and provided three assists in 17 appearances for CSKA in all competitions this season.
