Nigerian forward Anthony Nwakaeme was on target for Hapoel Be’er Sheva in their 4-1 victory over Beitar Jerusalem on Saturday’s Israeli Premier League play-offs.
The 29-year-old netted his 10th league goal of the season in the thrilling encounter at the Teddy Stadium.
Hen Ezra scored the opener in the 22nd minute of the game to put the host in front.
Entering into the second half, Hatem Abd Elhamed equalised for the visitors as it took the camels only four minutes to get the lead – credits to Hanan Maman’s 52nd minute strike.
In the 64th minute, Ben Sahar increased the tally before Nwakaeme sealed their win on 75 minutes.
Hapoel Be’er Sheva are currently unbeaten in their last six games as they will host on Maccabi Tel Aviv on Saturday, May 12.
