Olarenwaju Kayode was on target in Shakhtar Donetsk’s 5-1 win against Illychivets in the Ukrainian Cup semi-finals at the Metalists Stadium.
The Manchester City loanee, who made a winter transfer window move to the Miners in February, netted his second goal in three games in Wednesday’s clash.
Shakhtar’s Taison netted the opener on eight minutes before Ihor Tyschenko scored an equaliser for Illychivets in the 22nd minute.
Marlos fired Shakhtar back into the lead with a brilliant strike in the 38th minute and Taison grabbed a brace with another cool finish on 45+2′ minutes.
Kayode scores a peach goal in the 74th minute to increase the hosts’ tally before Ivan Petryak completed the rout on 81 minutes.
