Rangers International FC have announced the signing of former AS Trencin forward Uche Nwofor and former Chippa United midfielder Ugonna Uzochukwu in a bid to bolster the team for a surge for a continental ticket.
With the NPFL mid-season transfer window now opened, the Flying Antelopes thought it wise to make a swoop for their former players and sign them on a short-term contract till the end of the season.

Nwofor, who has ten caps for the senior national team, was on the books of Rangers in the 2010/11 season – a campaign in which he scored five goals – before he moved to Dutch side VVV Venlo. The 26-year-old has also played for a host of other European clubs – SC Heerenveen, Lierse SK, Boarvista.
AS Trencin released the striker in the summer of the 2016/17 season after struggling to hit the heights in that campaign as he managed to score two goals in 17 appearances.
Uzochukwu, in contrast, has only been to two other sides – Chippa United and Olympique De Khouribga – since he departed Rangers in 2014. The midfielder made nine appearances and scored two goals for the home-based Eagles in their CHAN 2014 campaign.
