Kwara United midfielder Magaji Issa has called for the “full support” of the fans when his side welcome Enyimba FC in their Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match on Wednesday.
The Harmony Warriors, currently with 15 points from 14 games, need to get all three points against the People’s Elephant to rise out of the relegation zone from the bottom of the table.
Issa admits the game against the two-time African champions will be tough and begs for support from the club’s fans when both teams lock horns at the Kwara State Stadium.
“Enyimba’s game looks very difficult for us but we want to give our all to claim the full points, even though we know it won’t be easy. That’s why we need the fans to come and give us their full support,” Issa said.
“In order to ensure total commitment and togetherness in the team for actualization of our goals of leaving the relegation zone and perhaps getting a top-four finish, we need adequate support and motivation from all stakeholders, supporters, football lovers, and individuals in the state.”
“I know that our game against Enyimba would attract a lot of spectators and I believe with new ideology, right attitude and continuous winning mentality our esteem fans would enjoy good football and get the three maximum points.”
