FIFA Ranking: Eagles’ point projected to drop despite victory over Poland

Super Eagles are expected to drop some points in the FIFA rankings despite their 1-0 victory over Poland at the Municipal Stadium on Friday.

Victor Moses converted a 61st minute spot kick as the Eagles fought out a 1-0 win against highly-ranked Poland in an international friendly on Friday but the result is however projected to not improve the team’s ranking.

Calculations made by statistics and facts media, SoccerWikiNigeria suggest that the three-time African champions are expected to drop (with respect to the Poland clash) approximately three points in the next FIFA ranking publication to be released in April.

Super Eagles defeated Poland but calculations reveal the team is projected to drop 2⃣.9⃣4⃣ points in the next FIFA ranking release.
Having garnered 609pts as at the publication released in March, the Eagles are expected to posses 606.06pts after the win against Poland

Although, the West Africans are not likely to drop places on the ranking, an upward move is factually unfeasible.

The Eagles will square up against Serbia in another international friendly clash at the Hive Stadium, London on Tuesday but even a win is not likely to upgrade the team’s points.
