Super Eagles Media Officer Toyin Ibitoye has revealed to Jollof Sports that ADO Den Haag defender Tyronne Ebuehi will be available for Nigeria’s Pre-World friendlies against Poland and Serbia later in the month.
Jollof Sports reported on Tuesday that the Media Officer stated that Torino midfielder Joel Obi is in good condition and fit for the impending friendlies just as Ebuehi, who ADO Den Haag declared diagnosed with groin injury, is uncertain to honour the call-up.
However, Ibitoye, in reply to the Nigerian Sport News outlet’s publication on twitter, revealed that Ebuehi is in good shape as well and that he will be available for the Eagles’ engagements in March.
Ebuehi is ok.
He will be with us for Poland and Serbia games.

The ADO Den Haag defender was subbed out in the second half of the Dutch side’s league encounter with NAC Breda on Saturday following complaints of discomfort at his groin.
Earlier on Tuesday, March 13, ADO Den Haag confirmed Ebuehi’s groin injury on their official website while stating the time required for the right-back to recover is not known.
”Beugelsdijk has a hamstring injury, while Ebuehi and Kanon have groin problems.”
”Ebuehi and Kanon suffer from the groin area, but it is not yet known how long their recovery will last.
”Ebuehi and Kanon are also among the provisional roster of Nigeria and Ivory Coast respectively for the coming international break, which will take place after the coming game.”
Ebuehi has been a regular squad member of the national team since he accepted the invitation for the Eagles’ friendly against Senegal in March, 2017. He has hitherto only been omitted during the team’s squad selection for the game against Zambia in October, last year.
Nigeria will take on the Eagles of Poland on March 23 at the Wroclaw Stadium before traveling to London to square up against Serbia at the Hive Stadium four days later.
