Iheanacho ‘happy’ with goal at Hawthorns, looks forward to more

Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho has expressed excitement following his blistering performances against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns Stadium on Saturday’s English Premier League encounter.

The 21-year-old proved to be a game changer as he made an instant impact after his introduction, laying on an assist for Riyad Mahrez to make it 2-1 two minutes after he replaced Shinji Okazaki.

The striker made it three for the 2016/17 Premier League champions through a header into the corner before Vicente Iborra completed the comeback with a glancing header in stoppage time.

“It’s was a good game, we worked hard and it was a brilliant performance from the team,” Iheanacho told LCFC TV.
“I waited so long for this goal and I’m happy I scored. I look forward to more goals in the next games.”

Iheanacho has now scored six goals in 21 appearances for Leicester City first team this term.
