Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho yielded a terrific cameo performance in Leicester City’s comeback win against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorn Stadium on Saturday’s Premier League encounter.
Iheanacho scored a goal and assisted another after coming off the bench in the second to record his first Premier League goal for Foxes.
Salomon Rondon scored the opener on eighth minutes for the Baggies before Jamie Vardy equalised 15 minutes later courtesy of Riyad Mahrez’s lob pass.
Iheanacho was subbed in on the hour mark for Shinji Okazaki. Two minutes later, the Nigerian forward assisted Mahrez to overturn the host’s lead.
In the 76th minute, the former Manchester City striker made it three for the 2016/17 Premier League champions through a header into the corner.
Vincent Iborra sealed the victory for the visitors in the stoppage time from a delightful assist for Marc Albrighton.
Iheanacho has now scored six goals in 21 appearances for Leicester City first team this term.
The Foxes are placed 8th on the log with 40 points from 30 games.
