Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr wishes to win the 2018 FIFA World Cup title with the three-time African champions and states the team is working hard to achieve the dream.
With the Eagles’ biggest feat at the Mundial being a last-16 round exit, the West Africans habour hope of clinching the game’s most prestigious trophy according to Rohr.
”Every team going to the World Cup in Russia has a dream of winning it. But to be realistic, we believe in our dream and we are working so hard to achieve it,” Rohr told reporters when the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour arrived in Lagos.
The Super Eagles will face Poland, Serbia, DR Congo, England and Czech Republic in warm-up games to prepare them for the impending Mundial.
The team will have to first surmount the challenge of finishing in the top-half of a group composed of Argentina, Croatia and Iceland in the group stage of the competition.
