Sports merchandise giants AFA Sports have unveiled the new kits for the D’Tigers and the D’Tigress ahead of the former’s 2019 FIBA World Cup qualifiers.
The unveiling ceremony, which was held on Thursday evening, was a big step in the team’s preparation for the qualifiers which will commence on February 23.
While reviewing the designs at unveiling, the Co-owner of the Lagos City Stars, Olanrewaju Fasasi known by his stage name, Sound Sultan said:
“This is definitely a game changer for the Nigerian team because this unique fabric is adapted for the heat and keeps your body cool while playing,” Fasasi, who modelled the new jersey, stated.

The D’Tigers team will don this new jersey when they face Uganda on Wednesday in Group B of the African qualifiers before squaring up against Rwanda and Mali on February 24 and 25 respectively.
