D’Tigress coach Vincent hopes for success at 2018 World Cup

D’Tigress head coach Sam Vincent has stated that he is hoping for a fruitful 2018 after leading his team to qualify for 2018 FIBA Women’s World Cup in Spain.

Vincent thanked the Nigeria Basketball Federation for their support in the outgoing year and spoke of his hope for a more successful year head.

“We had a great moment this year and we are happy and looking forward to a successful 2018,” the 54-year-old told Complete Sports.

“We are hoping to do more and achieve more next year with the support of everybody.

“I must thank all members of the Nigeria Basketball Federation, NBBF and other citizens for their support.

“I am here monitoring the players and I am happy they are not doing badly in the season,” the American concluded.

Earlier this year, Vincent led the Nigerian Women Basketball team to victory at the Women’s FIBA AfroBasket in Mali.

The 18th edition of the FIBA Women’s World Cup will hold from the 22nd to 30th September, 2018.
