Nigerian table tennis superstar Aruna Quadri has moved up six places in the latest and final ITTF World ranking for 2017, released on Thursday.
Quadri, who garnered 50 points in November, moved from being 27th position to 21st in the December ranking.
The 2014 Commonwealth Games Bronze medalist could be said to be at his peak as he has reached an all-time career high in the December ranking.
Quadri’s previous peak world ranking was 25 which he held in September 2016- January 2017.
The latest ranking also has the 29-year-old displace Egyptian counterpart Omar Assar, who is now ranked 26th, as the highest ranked player in Africa.
