Kano Pillars and Gombe Bulls will now represent Nigeria and FIBA Africa zone 3 at the forthcoming FIBA Africa clubs championship to be played in Tunisia this December.
Kano Pillars, who won 2017 Kwese Premier League, secured the ticket following their 75-60 win over Gombe Bull on Friday in Lagos.
Pillars’ Abudl Yahaya emerged the most valuable player and one of the tourney’s best five players.
Abubakar Usman, Baniba Dodzi, Victor Ocheibi and Kator Gar completed the top five list.
The FIBA Africa zone 3 comprises eight countries which includes: Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Liberia, Niger, Benin, Ivory coast, and Burkina Faso.
