Yobe Desert Stars appoint Mohammed Babaganaru as new head coach

Newly promoted Yobe Desert Stars football club of Damaturu have confirmed the appointment of Mohammed Babaganaru as their new head coach.

The former Wikki Tourists manager put pen to paper for the Damaturu Boys on Tuesday ahead of the 2017/18 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

The Nigeria ex-international is not lacking in experience on local front as he has managed top NPFL clubs like Nasarawa United and Kano Pillars in the past.

Babaganaru guided Sai Masu Gida to lifting the NPFL crown in successive seasons between 2011 and 2013, before leaving to join the Solid Miners in the 2013/14 campaign.

Yobe Desert Stars will feature in the 2017/18 Nigeria Professional Football League after securing promotion from the Nigeria National League last season.
