Nigerian champions Plateau United have secured the service of Kastina United striker Chinedu Udechukwu ahead of the new Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
Plateau Utd lured Udechukwu off the grips of fellow suitor Enyimba FC, who reportedly offered ₦5 million for the forward.
Udechukwu was enticed by the possibility of featuring in the CAF Champions League, which the Jos side will offer next season.
“I have agreed to join Plateau United for the new season,” Udechukwu told Complete Sports.
The strong and heavy forward netted 11 goals for Katsina United who finished 16th in the NPFL last season.
