Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu scored the winner in FC Midtjylland’s 1-0 away win against Soenderjyske in the Danish Superliga on Friday evening.
The hitman found the back of the net in the 73rd minute to give the visitors the lead and eventually secure a win.
The away win at Soenderjyske was the Wolves’ fifth straight league win. They now top the league table with 25 points, two better than second-placed FC Nordsjaelland who have a game in hand.
Onuachu’s goal against Soenderjyske was his seventh in eight league appearances. He has now scored an impressive 11 goals in all competitions this season for the Jess Thorup-led side.
In February 2015 he was called up to the Nigerian under-23 national team by Samson Siasia but he didn’t make the final squad list to feature at the 2016 Rio Olympic games.
